Not sure there are adequate words to express the fulfillment one feels after serving at a Help-Portrait event. The countless faces that all have a name and a story tug on your inner heart strings. Help-Portrait is a worldwide event of photographers, make up artists, stylists and anyone and everyone giving their time, talents and donations to help people in need. Bringing people hope through a photo, loving on them and listening to their stories is nothing short of…Beautiful. Powerful. Life-changing. Hearing people’s stories of starting a new life, gaining custody of their children again, getting off drugs and how the Help-Portrait event put a smile on their face and gave them a sense of dignity is overwhelmingly awesome. Through giving, you receive back so much more than you could have ever dreamed of. It all started with an idea by celebrity photographer Jeremy Cowart for photographers to give back to the local community by finding someone in need, taking their portrait and giving them that portrait. Check out the impact Help-Portrait is having all over the globe at: Help-Portrait.com. Over 10,000 photographers in 56 countries giving over 100,000 photos to people in need. Don’t miss the opportunity to be a part of Help-Portrait 2012!!
