We LOVED everything about this DESTINation FL wedding!!!  Two of our amazing friends, Chelsea & Josh, saying “I Do” plus the beach mixed with their awesome families and friends equals pure bliss!!  It was an intimate occasion as the people closest to their hearts came together to celebrate these two lovebirds getting married. The joy, beauty and emotion of this day was outstanding.  Chelsea and Josh are an incredible couple. We appreciate how deeply they value their relationship with God, each other, family and friends. We are ecstatic for them being a Mr. & Mrs.!

Together, Chelsea & Josh are a power team.  Both chiropractors, aka “Dr. Axe” times 2, they are passionate about investing into other people’s health via chiropractic care, eating and exercise. Josh Axe is a wellness physician, leading radio show host, healthy gourmet chef, and national speaker.  We love how Chelsea completes him in every way and adds even more spice to their relationship…not to mention organizing their 50 million spices.;) If Chelsea wasn’t in school to be a chiropractor, hands down, she could be a model or a rockstar.  She’s absolutely GORGEOUS and loves to sing!!!

Josh & Chels – thank you from the bottom of our hearts for having us shoot your wedding.  It was an honor to be a part of your special day!  We love how you guys love and are so thankful you’re in our lives. We enjoy how competitive and fun you both are and look forward to many more years of awesome friendship and countless games of Settlers of Catan, “Kart” and Monopoly Deal.

Ahhh we couldn’t be more excited for our friends Chelsea & Josh getting hitched!!  What a fabulous time we all had at their wedding!!  We wanted to share a little glimpse into their beautiful wedding in Destin, FL and can’t wait to show the rest of the photos of these two hotties soon!!

Not sure there are adequate words to express the fulfillment one feels after serving at a Help-Portrait event. The countless faces that all have a name and a story tug on your inner heart strings. Help-Portrait is a worldwide event of photographers, make up artists, stylists and anyone and everyone giving their time, talents and donations to help people in need. Bringing people hope through a photo, loving on them and listening to their stories is nothing short of…Beautiful. Powerful. Life-changing. Hearing people’s stories of starting a new life, gaining custody of their children again, getting off drugs and how the Help-Portrait event put a smile on their face and gave them a sense of dignity is overwhelmingly awesome.  Through giving, you receive back so much more than you could have ever dreamed of.  It all started with an idea by celebrity photographer Jeremy Cowart for photographers to give back to the local community by finding someone in need, taking their portrait and giving them that portrait. Malibu weddings are our new craze! We could definitely get used to driving down the scenic PCH from the getting ready location of Santa Monica to the Malibu shores. The ridiculous backdrop of the beach, amazing clouds plus waves crashing onto the cliffs and shore only gets more awesome when you mix in friends getting married. We were thrilled to get to shoot Eric & Susanne’s barefoot on the beach wedding at Point Dume in Northwestern Malibu. Eric has been a long-time friend of David’s since the good ole’ Teen Mania TX days. It was a warm reunion when Eric, David and their bud Jonathan were together again. They all do not lack for adventure that’s for sure. Eric and Jonathan sailed across the Atlantic and then biked through Europe for a summer. Eric has been in Hollywood the past couple years working as a director of photography where he met the girl of his dreams, the beautiful producer on set, Susanne. We couldn’t be happier that Eric and Susanne were tying the knot. Susanne was a stunning bride with such a sweet spirit. These two are amazing together and have the most adorable little son Jackson who may have stolen the show that day with his endless smiles and giggles.

Eric & Susanne – Thank you for having us shoot your awesome wedding!! It was a pleasure to get to celebrate your special day with you and your lovely families. Hope you had a fabulous time on your honeymoon in Kauai. We wish you two the very best and can’t wait til when we can all hang in California. Much love from us!
